Is counselling confidential?

Yes. Your details and session notes are encrypted, and only your counsellor can read the notes. We do not share anything without your permission, unless someone’s safety is at serious risk.

Which languages do you offer?

English, Urdu and Tamil — for sessions, documents and certificates.

Can I have a session online?

Yes. Choose video or phone when you book, and we will arrange it.

Can my spouse or family come with me?

Yes. Couple and family sessions are common. You can also start on your own.

What happens after I book?

We call you to understand what you need, then confirm a time, a suitable counsellor and your language.

How long does counselling take?

It depends on the situation. Some people need one or two sessions; others benefit from a few weeks of regular sessions.

How do I verify a Nikah certificate?

Scan the QR code printed on the certificate, or paste its code on this page.

Which matters does the Darul Qadha handle?

Khula, talaq, faskh-e-nikah (dissolution of marriage), nafaqa (maintenance), hizanat (custody of children) and inheritance or property division. Reconciliation is always attempted first.

Does a Darul Qadha decision replace the courts?

No. Its decisions are rulings according to Shariah for the people who come to it. They do not replace the civil courts, and we will tell you when you also need legal advice.

What do we need to register a nikah?

Details and ID proof for the bride, groom, wali and at least two witnesses, the date and venue, and the mahr. We will guide you through every field.

How much does it cost?

We tell you the fee before anything is booked, so there are no surprises. Mahkama services have their own fees, also explained before you begin.

Is this an emergency service?

No. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 112. For mental-health support at any hour, call Tele-MANAS on 14416.
